Contract of Sale: These terms & conditions form a contract between the Customer (You) & Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern. When you register with us you will be asked to read these Terms & Conditions, when you place an order with Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. Should you require a copy of these Terms & Conditions please advise us & we will send a copy to you to read at your leasure.
Eligibility to Trade: Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern do not supply the General Public we only supply to the Trade. We define Trade as those who have retail outlets which form the main occupation of the Trader. No access to prices or online ordering is availible to those who are not traders as defined below.
In order to assist in defining genuine traders all customers wishing to purchase from us are asked to provide a Trade Reference. This must be a company who you already trade with. We reserve the right not to trade with anyone refusing to supply these details. We also reserve the right to delete or remove registration details from our data base of anyone refusing to supply this information.
Customers who are VAT registered can instead provide a faxed copy of their VAT Certificate to us.
We reserve the right to refuse to trade with anyone who is Rude Intimidating, Threatening or in any way Obnoxious or makes Misrepresentations to any members of staff within Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern. Should this occur then the Customer would be stuck off our database & we would not trade with them again.
Payments: We accept the following payments. Credit / Debit Cards (NOT AMERICAN EXPRESS) using our secure module. We then manually put the payment through our card machine allowing us east adjustment for any additions to your order or for out of stock items.
You can also phone in your Credit / Debit card details between 10 to 6 Mondays to Fridays according to our availibliltiy & excluding Bank Holidays.
By sending Cash or Postal Orders via the post (at your own risk) to our business address.
By sending cheques via the post made payable to Wholesale Silver Jewellery cavern. We reserve the right to withhold postage of goods until cheques have cleared which means this process can take 7 to 10 days. Cheques referred to Drawer by your bank are subject to administration charge of £20 which will be added to your order total to pay.
If payment for any item or charge or supplement remains outstanding we reserve the right to take action to recover the monies owed by means of civil action or passing the debt to a debt collection agency as necessary.
All items remain the property of Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern until they are paid for in full including any Shipping charges, VAT or other Charges Levied. Should a payment be subject to a chargeback or referred to Drawer by their bank then the complete order remains property of Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern until paid for in full.
Any Payment referred to Drawer or Declined will be subject to a twenty pound administration fee for each & every failed referral. We reserve the right not to trade with anyone who fails to make full & proper payment for their order by whatever means.
Any item that we sell exclusively is associated with the Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern Brand Name . We reserve the right to refuse to supply anyone who acts in a manner lightly to undermine, devalue, demean or copy that brand name. We reserve the right to refuse to trade with anyone who approaches any of our suppliers and attempts to undermine our position with them in any way.
Returns: Any Damages, Returns, Missing Items & mistakes must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt of said items. If outside of this period we reserve the right to refuse to accept the returns. We will only accept items that are authorised by us ( usually by email) Returns not authorised may be returned to sender & if accepted without authorisation by us will be charged an administration & restocking fee of 20% of the total order. This can be very expensive so Please ensure to get Authorisaiton first. We do not offer goods on Sale or Return so if you simply do not like an item & wish to return it we may accept a return but this is entirely at our discretion. If this is the case we will offer you a credit note on your next order. Please see shipping below for further details on Returns.
If you return faulty items then you may elect for us to send you replacement items with your next order, a credit note for the full value of said items on your next order or a refund on goods over £5 in total. Please note we usually require the faulty item to be returned to us. Claims are only entertained if the item is in new unused condition other than the reported fault. For damaged items & compensation please see shipping section below.
Any items returned must be in new condition or in the condition sent to you if faulty or it arrives damaged. All returns are at your expence for return shipping costs & due care must be taken to ensure they arrive safely to us. We recomend at least Recorded Delivery on items costing up to £32 or Special Delivery on items costing over £32. Either way also ensures they can be tracked.
If any Packaging of the item is ripped open, or in any way not as new, we will not entertain a claim. Therefore please ensure you open all items carefully to check their condition. We do not entertain claims for return of earrings or any other item that may penetrate the skin in any way, if they are not in their original packaging, unused & faulty in some way.
Shipping: Orders under 2 kilos may be shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders over 2 kilos will either be split or sent by a carrier according to the best option availible at the time. We will contact you to say how it is being delivered by email.
We aim to deal with Traders who are in buisness premises, but are aware lots of people work sucessfully from home, some carriers may levey additional charges if no one is in to accept delivery, then will then attemp a redelivery & may charge us for it, if the is the case then any addional shipping fees or redelivery charges are passed directly on to the customer to pay. If not paid the whole order remains the property of Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern until such a time as the fees are paid in full. Once your order is sent our web site will be updated to sent & you will received a copy of the update by email, your order should arrive within 2 days of receiving this email. However carriers do not garantee how many days the shipping may take or what time of day they may call, So if you are in doubt then a shipping adress where you know there will be someone availible at all time to sign for & accept delivery.
Shipping is currently £6 to most of Mainland UK ( there are exceptions). We reserve the right to ammend shipping charges without notice. Shipping is more expensive to the following locations. Any Highland, Island or Remote Area, The Isle of Man, The Scottish Highlands & Islands, Any other Remote or Inaccessible Area.
The Channel Islands are classed as International & so require Costoms Forms to be completed & shipping is much more expensive to this area, so please email for a quote.
This list is not exhaustive. Any additional charge by our carriers will be passed directly onto the Customer.
All shipping outside of the UK will be charged a different amount to that shown at checkout & you will be advised by email of the exact shipping costs once the order has been processed. If shipping costs more we reserve the right to charge extra to cover that cost.
All orders may only be shipped for the specified charge up to a maximun of 20 kilos for the UK deliveries. or 30 kilos for international deliveries. Orders exceeding those weights will be charged whatever additional amount is required to cover the additional costs incurred. International orders which exceed 30 kilos or are of large volumetric items, will be charged additional shipping charges to cover the costs incurred.
All items are effectively sent uninsured unless under 2 kilos and send by Royal Mail Special Delivery, Special Delivery is very expensive for items over 2 kilos. Carriers do insure parcels sent within the UK but claims are subject to the following conditions.
We must be notified within 3 days of any claim for damages. All orignal packaging must be kept until informed otherwise in case the carrier wishes to inspect it.
All parcels must be signed for on receipt & signed for as unchecked on the carriers manual or computorised hand held records. If any item is not signed for & sign for as unchecked then no claim can be made.
No items can be returned without prior authorisation by us in writing.) (usually an email.)
Damaged items will only be replaced credited or refunded to you upon completion of a successful claim against the carrier. In all cases the items will need to be returned to us for inspection & completion of the claim. Returning the items is at your expense. Also please not that most carriers have a policy excess of around £30 & also will only compensate for the actual cost excluding VAT & our profit element. We will only compensate you with what is passed on to us by the carrier should the claim be sucessful. In effect this means you will not recover the full value of what you paid for an item if claiming for damage.
We are happy to wrap parcels for collection by your own carrier. If using your own carrier then all claims for any damages or loss are to be made by you. You must notify us when you order if you wish to supply your own carrier then the shipping charge will then be waived.
No claim for damages will be entertained if the external packaging of the item has been forcibly ripped open or otherwise inapprepriately opened. A small penknife will open 99% of the protective packaging of all the items without such damage being caused. We cannot make a claim if the item packaging is damaged.
Some parcels sent Internationally. (outside UK) are not insured for loss or damage in any way & as such we will not entertain any claim for loss or damage caused. Where possible we will insure International parcels but the customer will be charged the additional shipping charge to recover the costs incurred . For faulty items please see above paragraphs for the proceedures to be followed. All faulty items are to be returned to us at your own expense for a refund, replacement or credit claim to be made. If you merely do not like an item we will not normally accept its return for that reason. We will not accept any unauthorised returns & will charge you as detailed above if you do so.
Back Orders: Backorders are only done at our discretion, because there are a lot of costs involved in doing so (Shipping etc) & you may no longer require the order. If you do wish for an order to placed on back order then please advise & we will take your requests into consideration. You would be asked to cover your own shipping costs for the back orders unless you are happy to wait and have them included in your next order with us.
If you place an order & there are items out of stock we will charge you for the amount of goods actually sent.
Please keep refering to the web site for out of stock items as when we receive them we usually put them back online very quickly. Anything not on the web site is currently out of stock.
VAT: VAT is not applicable at present. We will notify you as & when the situation changes.
Customers who are outside of the European Union are responsible for ensuring they pay their own state & local Taxes & that they do not import any prohibited items from us. Any problems with customers own Customs or Taxation Authorities is entirely down to the said Customer.
New Traders: New Traders are defined as those who for whatever reason can not prove their Trade Status. New Traders have further terms & conditions inposed on them. This is to deter the public from buying at trade prices.
We ask New Traders who can not supply us with a Trade Reference to supply a copy of a cheque from their Buisness Cheque Book or something simular to prove they are a new Business.
If a new trader buys from us & we later determine that they are not genuine traders as described above then Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern reserve the right not to trade with them & to remove them from our database.
New traders accounts will be activated for a limited period of 7 days during which time they may to view prices & have use of their shopping cart & place orders, If however they fail to place an order within this time frame they will be removed from the database, if an order is placed within the 7 day period the customer will remain activated on Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern & they will be treated as a verified customer as long as they continue adhere to our terms & conditions.. So please ensure if you are a genuine Trader that you are at the point that you are ready to commit to placing an order.
New Customers are required to place a minimum order value of at least £75 plus shipping. Again to deter the public from buying at trade prices. Once a customer has placed their initial order they will remain activated on Wholesale Silver Jewellery Cavern Web Site & be treated as a verified customer. Further orders can be placed with no minimum order value but please note orders under £75 are liable to an additional fee of £15. This is because it is as time consuming making up small orders as larger ones & as such is not viable. This is not a shipping fee (please see shipping as above) This would be charged as well as well as the shipping fees.
New Traders are particularly referred to the terms & conditions in full, especially the ones the paragraphs dealing with devaluing or undermining trade confidence in our exclusive products. We will de register & refuse to deal with anyone infringing these terms & conditions either knowingly or otherwise.
We will not trade or deal with in any way Traders who register in different names & addresses in order to attempt to circumvent these conditions.
Any misrepresentation on the customers part will probabily result in us refusing to trade with you & we reserve the right to do so.

Whilst we take due care & attention in the marketing & safety of our products, if you purchase a product from us & find it is a safety hazzard please inform us immediately so that we may take appropiate action.
